Consultation: The first step is a consultation with one of Vidal Flooring Inc.’s professionals. During this consultation, our professional will assess the space, discuss design options, and answer any questions you may have.
- Preparation: Before installation can begin, the existing flooring must be removed and the subfloor inspected for any damage or imperfections. The subfloor is then repaired or replaced as needed to ensure a smooth surface for the hardwood planks.
Installation: The hardwood planks are then installed using a variety of methods, including glue-down, nail-down, or floating. Vidal Flooring Inc. only uses high-quality adhesives and fasteners to ensure the planks are secure and will last for years to come.
- Sanding and Finishing: Once the planks are installed, the floor is sanded to remove any rough spots or imperfections. Then, the finish is applied. In addition, Vidal Flooring Inc. offers a variety of finishes, including natural oil, water-based, and polyurethane.
Clean-up: After the installation and finishing are complete, our professionals will clean up the job site, leaving it in the same condition as when they arrived.

Alexis and Brian did a fantastic job on our renovation. Our floors, fireplace and stair runner look beautiful! We originally hired them to take out our old porcelain tile and to install luxury vinyl planks. Then we noticed the fireplace needed attention and had them lay ledger stone and limestone. Mind you this is when they had just started on the floor. Then we noticed the kitchen counter needed to be removed because it didn’t match the floor or the fireplace. Again, Alex was quick with a quote and they just added the extra work into the schedule. Then we had them lay a stair runner down our newly painted stairs. Vidal Tile is absolutely amazing. WOW. Was really hesitant to demo tile because of the obvious potential mess. But Vidal Tile has it figured out…they are really clean and dust free as advertised. They were able to demo entire house (800 sq ft tile and rest carpet) in 1.5 days. Left the house amazingly clean. Really easy to work with and if I didn’t have an installer lined up previously to using Vidal for demo, I would 100% have used them for install too. Really knowledgeable. Can’t say enough good things about this crew. Everyone was absolutely professional and took pride in their work. Still can’t believe I waited as long as I did to demo tile with results like this.

Going "Dustless" with Vidal Flooring for ceramic tile removal is worth the cost. (Anyone who has done it the traditional route knows how bad the dust is.) Because I have lung issues, it was important for me to find someone who could remove a lot of tile with very little dust. There are not very many companies who offer this service, and so I was very happy to discover that Vidal Flooring did, and that they would travel from Riverside, CA to northern California.First, a little background. I had attempted to get another tile company out, who promised dustless. They ended up ghosting me after I had to change the date (due to contractor delay for our remodel). Calls, voice mails, texts, and emails went unanswered. This turned out to be a good thing, because I then found Vidal Flooring! I contacted them via their website and asked if they did work in NorCal up near Sacramento, and they said yes. They gave me a reasonable quote, booked a date, and then it was a matter of waiting. I called about a week out of the date, just to double check. They assured me I was on the books and they'd be here. That morning, we wondered if they'd really show up. (We had severe PTSD after our experience with the other company.) Not to worry. They arrived about 8 that morning. They worked all day removing almost 1500 sq ft. of tile. When they were finished for the day, they cleaned up everything, and wiped down all surfaces of what little dust remained. (I'd estimate over 95% of dust was sucked up as they worked. Very little remained.) The next day, they removed the remaining thinset, smoothing the slab foundation in preparation for a new floor. They even removed the tile from a small bathroom that had not originally been budgeted for, since I decided I wanted to retile that later as well. And though they estimated a max of 3 days, and said much depended on the type of tile and thinset, etc., they finished the entire project including the extra bathroom in a total of 1.25 days. They were packing up to leave by 10 AM the next morning.We've had tile removed before. We've never seen anything like this. My contractor (and everyone else we spoke with) were very skeptical. They are now believers.Pros:--Very, very little dust left.--Crew is super polite, considerate, and hard working.--Price in comparison to other dustless companies is very reasonable.Cons:--For the budget-minded, it will cost more. But when you weigh your time in cleaning dust from every crevice for months and months after (never mind breathing in that carcinogenic dust), it is worth the price.--There is still a small amount of dust in the air, though you can't see it at all. Our contractor put up a shield in the back of the house as a precaution.

These guys are phenomenal! I was very apprehensive to do my floors, as I expected it to be extremely disruptive and messy. I am so happy that I chose this company, and I will explain why, specifically, below:Process: I was going from a thick, uneven saltillo tile to a thin luxury laminate wood-look floor, so there was quite a difference in floor height, which could have created all kinds of issues with doors and built in cabinetry and stone fireplaces throughout my house. Other companies told me “usually our clients just re-do all their doors and cabinetry at the same time they do their flooring” or “we can lay the new floor on top, but you’ll need to move out and move all of your furniture out, that’ll be easier for us”. What?! These comments made me not want to do my floors! Then I met Alex from Vidal Flooring. He said he can grind down my existing floor to get it more level, then apply a leveling fluid on top, then the wood on top of that, and I’ll end up at pretty close to the same height, maybe just 1/8” higher. All I needed to do to prepare was to move my breakables, and that they’d do one half of the house, while I ‘lived’ in the other, then they’d switch, so I’d have places to put all of my things. He made the process easy for me.Quality of work: My new floors are perfectly, beautifully installed, and I, admittedly, can be very picky! And the way they cut the baseboards was so great, like not just a U cutout around the toilet pipe but cutting and angling the baseboard to go around the pipe instead. Artistry!Cleanliness: Not only do they have the dustless tile removal, which is awesome, but each day, they swept, vacuumed, and mopped the new flooring so that I was never left with a mess!Professionalism: The whole crew was really amazing. The nicest, most professional people you could ask for. Alex runs the company with his two brothers, Brian and Eric, plus the crew included their dad and a couple of other guys. Every single one of them was so great to work with and had such a great attitude. You really couldn’t ask for anything better.Timing: They completed about 1800 sf in 6 days. This included grinding down the old tile to make it level, topping it with the leveling fluid, drying, laying the wood, installing baseboards, and cleaning up each evening.Overall: 5 stars isn’t a high enough rating for them. I have been doing building and renovations for 40 years now. I have a lot of property and apartments buildings. I am always involved with one contractor or another continuously across three states. I not sure how I landed up finding Alex at Vidal Flooring, but it was my lucky day. They have done a huge job for me high end in Newport Coast. Here is my experience - they operate in a different league. There work is impeccable. There work ethic is unmatched, and they sure know how to work hard. Due to 3 slab leaks, I have been without a kitchen and horrible carpet in my bedroom since 8/10/20, it is now 1/20/21. I called Alex on 1/14 and told him my situation and he told me he was booked 3 weeks out. I told him I had furniture coming on the 25th and he was at my home at 8/15 8am sharp to give me an estimate. A couple of hours later, he called me and said we can be there Monday 1/18! They came on Monday and worked diligently from 8am-6pm and almost knocked it out in one day. They arrived 8am Tuesday and were just about finished until the windstorm caused a power outage. That did not stop them! They continued to work on “detailing” their work until they had no more natural light. They returned 7:45am today (Wednesday) and we’re finished by 10am! They did a FANTASTIC job and I LOVE a company that takes PRIDE in their work! They will always be my go to for flooring and I will be glad to refer them to anyone who asks!

I have had some bad luck with contractors recently, so I was very careful to fully vet the company I would use to remove my tile floors and lay new LVP. Alex and his crew performed beyond my expectations. First of all, this truly was “dustless”. They removed over 1000sf of porcelain tile, and there was absolutely no dust at all. I have had two bathrooms and a kitchen renovation done in the last year, and it didn’t matter what precautions the other company took, my house was left full of dust. Furniture and clothing just ruined. Alex and his team removed the tile, leveled the concrete floors, and laid the LVP in 2 days and left my house spotless. My floors are absolutely beautiful. I have searched for years for dustless removal but they were all out of state but then we found Vidal Flooring. Alex gave us an estimate for removal and installing new floors and baseboard. Fredy also demo’d our fireplace tile in our master bedroom, and did an amazing job with figuring out the most aesthetically-pleasing design — it turned out modern and better than we could have imagined, and is now the focal point in our bedroom!!These guys are the best, and I can’t recommend them enough if you’re looking for a team to come in and do a job with true quality workmanship and for a very reasonable price! I had a guy scheduled to demo the tile floor in our master bathroom as part of a remodel project and he failed to show up. It turned out to be a blessing that the guy stood me up, because I then found Alex and he had his guys here on short notice, just a couple of days later on a Saturday, and completed the job so that we were able to continue with the next stage of the project on the following Monday.The guys arrived bright and early on Saturday morning, ready to go to work. Very professional, nice friendly guys and very knowledgeable. They put down paper everywhere they had to walk to reach the bathroom, brought in a couple of filtered fans and went to work. They were finished with the job in a few hours and left the home spotless and dust free. They even wet mopped the garage floor where the wheels of their equipment rolled.We have a table in the bedroom next to where they were working, which my wife dusted before they began. She dusted it again when they left and there was no trace of duct, so the process was truly dust free.The job was done on short notice, quickly and efficiently and the price was very reasonable. We were having our Kitchen Cabinets installed on a Monday and needed the floor demo complete by the weekend.
